Uke & Brew Festival On August 28

New Lebanon will host a “Uke ‘N’ Brew Festival” at the pavilion in Shatford Park. Sponsored by the Recreation Commission, the festival is scheduled from 1 to 5 pm and features live ukulele music, food, craft beer and other attractions.[private]Music is going to be provided by the Berkshire Ukulele Band from Great Barrington, MA (1 to 1:30 pm); The Ukeville Stringband from Williamstown, MA (1:40 to 2:10 pm); Lita Williams from Northern Berkshire County, MA (2:20 to 3 pm); Snapback from Northern CT (3:10 to 4 pm); and Berkshire County’s David Grover and Linda Worster playing ukuleles(!) (4:10 to 5 pm). Tasty craft beer from the Beer Diviner of Berlin will complement great food provided by the Bounti Fare Restaurant of Adams, MA. Locally-built ukuleles will be exhibited by Brier Road Luthiers of Adams, MA. Raffles will be held for a ukulele magazine, a uke t-shirt, Aquila strings, a tuner, and one soprano ukulele with bag, case, and assorted accessories. Tickets will be $15 for adults, $10 for students with ID, and free for kids under 12.
