Their CDs include ‘I Have Walked With Angels’ and ‘The Cuckoo.’ Lisa is the daughter of impresario Don Bernstein of Fox Hollow fame. Fran is an instrument maker. Both are terrific performers.

The Shieling, a band which plays traditional Celtic music led by Petersburgh residents Donald Lindsay and Alannah Fitzgerald, will also perform. Members of the band, in addition to Donald and Alannah, include Arbo Doughty, and Sean Smith. Donald and Alannah performed at Fox Hollow for many years and have recorded on the Old Songs label, and Telark Records.

Chicken Barbecue The creative chefs of the Petersburgh United Methodist Church will be preparing the barbecue dinner serving from 4 to 7 pm. The dinner will include a half Chicken, macaroni Salad, baked Beans, cole Slaw, roll, dessert, and a beverage, for $10 per person (take out available). To reserve tickets (required) call Annie at 852-6576, or Norma at 283-5397.

The event takes place at the Petersburgh Veterans Memorial Community Center, 71 Main Street (Route 2) in Petersburgh. [/private]
