Information And County Services Available At Schaghticoke Fair

Rensselaer County Executive Kathleen M. Jimino along with other county officials and representatives of County Departments will be on hand at the Schaghticoke Fair to both offer services and provide information on programs and services available to County residents.[private] The information and services will be available for the entire fair which runs from August 31 to September 5. County information and services will be located in the Hoosic Valley Fire Department building. “The Schagticoke Fair is an outstanding opportunity for fun for the entire family and while visiting the fair I urge residents and visitors to stop by our exhibits and find out a bit more about the programs and services we offer. From demonstrations by our Bureau of Public Safety or information about our Public Health programs county officials will be on hand to discuss roles and focus of the various agencies,” said Rensselaer County Executive Kathleen M. Jimino. County Departments represented at the Fair include: Office of the County Executive; Department for Aging; Department for Mental Health; Department of Health; County Legislature; Bureau of Veterans Services; Bureau of Public Safety; Office of the Sheriff; Department of Social Services; Bureau of Research and Information Services; Van Rensselaer Manor; Tourism; STOP-DWI; Department for Youth; Department of Motor Vehicles.
