Thank you

June 23, 2016 By eastwickpress

To the Editor:
On June 18 the Lebanon Valley Seniors held a Tag/Bake Sale Silent Auction fundraiser to benefit Charlie’s Pantry and the New Lebanon school backpack program at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall in New Lebanon.[private]
This is our second year and for us it was an overwhelming success. We raised $1,314, compared to last year’s total of $844. We are able to give $657 this year each to Charlie’s pantry and the New Lebanon school backpack program, $235 more than last year!
This is all due to the generosity and support of many people: businesses in Lebanon Valley and surrounding communities who donated items for the silent auction, many people who donated tag sale and bake sale items, the many people who attended the fundraiser, the LVPA who helped set up and take down tables, the Immaculate Conception church for use of the hall and seniors who gave their time to work at the fundraiser and Sheryl Roden and Maggie Sears who coordinated all of this.
Be sure to look for our next fund raiser in June, 2017!
Sincerely,
Pat Burnell, President
Lebanon Valley Seniors[/private]
