Local Students Named To Dean’s List And President’s List at Hudson Valley Community College

More than 1,1000 students were recently named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2016 term at Hudson Valley Community College. Each fall and spring term, the college’s Deans’ List honors those students who have a term grade point average between 3.0 and 3.5.

Garrett Cardinal of Petersburgh, who is studying in the Liberal Arts and Science: Humanities and Social Science academic program.

Krystal Cropsey of Petersburgh, who is studying in the Business – Accounting academic program.

Jeffrey Curtis of Petersburgh, who is studying in the Criminal Justice academic program.

Morgan Hill of Petersburgh, who is studying in the Individual Studies academic program.

Ian Leffler of Petersburgh, who is studying in the Business Administration academic program.

Stephen Pelletier of Petersburgh, who is studying in the Liberal Arts and Science: Humanities and Social Science academic program.

Gabriella Ranellucci of Petersburgh, who is studying in the Criminal Justice academic program.

Tessa Ranellucci of Petersburgh, who is studying in the Individual Studies academic program.

Cory Rifenberick of Petersburgh, who is studying in the Construction Technology academic program.

Sharon Strock of Petersburgh, who is studying in the Early Childhood academic program.

Stephanie Roberts of Petersburgh, who is studying in the Business Administration academic program.

Samantha Baratto of Stephentown, who is studying in the Individual Studies academic program.

Danielle Jones of Stephentown, who is studying in the Individual Studies academic program.

President’s List

Several local students were recently named to the President’s List for the Spring 2016 term at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. Each fall and spring term, the college’s President’s List honors those students who have a term grade point average between 3.5 and 4.0.

Those recognized include:

Kostin Galusha of Berlin, who is studying in the Computer Information Systems academic program.

Rebecca Olson of Berlin, who is studying in the Nursing academic program.

Kodi Day of Petersburgh, who is studying in the Criminal Justice academic program.

Sandra Eustace of Petersburgh, who is studying in the Chemical Dependency Counseling academic program.

Andrew Harris of Petersburgh, who is studying in the Non-matriculated academic program.

Matthew Mears of Petersburgh, who is studying in the Liberal Arts HonorScholar academic program.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 80 degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of nearly 12,000 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training.
