Nearly 200 of Hudson Valley Community College’s top students were honored with a variety of academic scholarships recently. The scholarships celebrate the depth of student excellence across the college’s more than 80 academic programs.

Jackson Burhans of Grafton, who was given the Carelli & Gardner Memorial Scholarship. Burhans is studying in the non-matriculated academic program.
Jordan Cahill of Stephentown, who was given the Carelli & Gardner Memorial Scholarship. Cahill is studying in the non-matriculated academic program.
Alexander Flowers of Petersburgh, who was given the Carelli & Gardner Memorial Scholarship. Flowers is studying in the non-matriculated academic program.
Sarah French of Stephentown, who was given the Carelli & Gardner Memorial Scholarship. French is studying in the non-matriculated academic program.
Nolan Jones of Stephentown, who was given the Carelli & Gardner Memorial Scholarship. Jones is studying in the non-matriculated academic program.

Matthew Mears of Petersburgh, who was given the Honor Scholar Scholarship. Mears is studying in the Liberal Arts and Science: Humanities and Social Science academic program.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers 80 degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training.
