At the February Planning Board meeting, the town first heard about Dave and Donna Wagar’s plan to open a combination of crafts, landscaping, fire wood and vegetable stand on property they purchased along Route 2 west of the village. [private]
This past weekend, Grafton Mountain Green started selling mulch and firewood, with the vegetable stand under construction. Wagar said he hopes to have this open shortly, particularly for sweet corn season and the fall crops. His partner, Lenny Deschaine plans to have his firewood production facility up and running this summer in the rear portions of the property. The house, which will house the American made craft store, will probably open next spring.[/private]
