The Grafton Community Library presents Intermediate Basket Weaving – Spring Basket Workshop as part of the Grafton Community Arts Program that has been awarded grant funding from The Arts Center of the Capital Region.
[private]The student will learn intermediate and advanced basket-making techniques to create this attractive basket. Basic weaving skills required. Linda Dayton is the instructor for this class. This large oval or square basket is both useful and decorative. It measures 12” X 10” X 5” deep, has a fixed wooden handle, and natural and colored reeds. The class will be held on Saturday, May 21 from 9 am to 2 pm at the Everett Wagar Senior Center in Grafton. Class size is limited to 12 participants (age 14 and above). Preregistration is required, along with a $10 materials fee. Sign up at the library at 2455 NY Route 2.
