Grafton Fire and Rescue responded to an overturned ATV along the side of South Road on Saturday, April 3. At the time, the driver was transported to Troy’s Samaritan Hospital for what was described as non-life threatening injuries. [private]State Police told The Eastwick Press that afternoon they believed a flat tire caused the mishap. It was disclosed at Tuesday night’s court session that a routine blood alcohol test revealed the driver to be above the .08% threshold, and that has resulted in one count of Driving While Intoxicated and three ATV violations. William Church of Cobleskill in Schoharie County has been identified as the operator of the ATV. He has plead not guilty to all counts, and will appear in court at a later date. [/private]
