Would you like to know how to prune your blueberries so that they produce larger berries for the long-term?
Hay Berry Farm’s annual open house [private]on pruning blueberries is Saturday, March 19 at 1 pm. You will see why the farm uses certain tools, and you will join in the process (and art) of transforming a shrub from unkempt to productive.
“It helps to get experience pruning in person, especially if you have a specific problem and are not sure how to approach it,” advises Hay Berry Farm’s Lawrie Nickerson. “And now is the best time to prune, before the bushes break dormancy in mid-April.”
The program is free and open to the public. To register or ask questions call: 518-285-9039.[/private]
