Dyken Pond Summer Outdoor Learning Adventure: Registration For 2016 Programs Now Open

The natural world is filled with mystery and beauty.  One can spend a lifetime exploring any one of its many secrets.  The Summer Outdoor Learning Adventure will kindle interest and spark curiosity about the natural world in which we live.  Each one-week session will offer age-appropriate activities in outdoor living skills, ecology, plants and wildlife.  Each day will be an exciting blend of fun and learning taught through games, crafts, hikes, and hands-on discoveries.

Touch the Earth, Ages 6-10

July 18 – July 22 and July 25 – July 29

Adventurers, Ages 11-13

August 1 – 5 and August 8 – August 12

The cost is $175, or $155 for members for a one week session, or $325 or $300 for members for a two week session.

Scholarships are available to those that apply, and this year a special grant was awarded for scholarships for Troy children.

Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment by check must be received to hold your place. Mail to: Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center, 475 Dyken Pond Road, Cropseyville NY, 12052.
