Youth Commission Planning Easter Event

February 25, 2016 By eastwickpress

An Easter event is being planned for Grafton youth for Saturday March 19 from 2 to 4 pm. Individuals and groups are invited to sponsor a table at the Easter Celebration.

[private]This year with Easter being early the  Grafton Youth Commission didn’t want to hold the annual Easter Egg Hunt in the park with unknown weather conditions. The Youth Commission seeks to encourage groups and adults in town to engage with the youth in town we are asking all groups, organizations, business owners….to sponsor a table.

Amy Reger said she hopes to get local organizations such as the quilt group, historical society, seniors, church groups, businesses, and volunteer organizations involved. She encourages those who would like to be involved to be creative and come up with a craft, a game, or any idea you have for this Easter Event.

Reger said, “Remember, it takes a town to raise a child!”

Reger asked those who would like to sponsor a table to contact her at 366-4541. The tables are free  – the only cost to participants is the time and material they bring to it.

Reger is working on this with Grafton Town Youth Director Noelle Goyer, who can be reached at 269-8988.[/private]
