Join Dave Muska on February 27 from 10 am to 3 pm for a workshop at the Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center that will give you some incredible tools and knowledge on how to deal with those unexpected circumstances in the wild. [private]Dave Muska is Director of Odantra Adventures and is a licensed New York State wilderness guide and wilderness skill instructor. Some of the skills covered will include what to carry in your daypack, how to stay warm with little to no gear, how to build a snow shelter (weather appropriate) for withstanding dropping overnight temperatures, and how to maximize the use of fire.
