Top bowlers for Hoosick Falls were:  Josh McCart with a great 276-694, A.J. Hurlburt with a nice 214-639, followed by Jon Bossoni with his best match score of the season 213-613, Jennifer Sargood with a good 201-594, Kyla Day 186-535, and Tyler Lindsey 179-514.

Other good J.V. and Exhibition scores were:  Chris Snyder with a great 224-589, Dan Suite with a good 204-547, Meghan Backes with a nice 195-538, Owynn Arnold with a good 201-520, James Hynd 177, and Ben Kapron 171. Top bowler for Fort Edward was Tyler Stone with a great score of 266-708.

“It was a close match right down to the last four frames of the last game.  Hoosick Falls got off to a good start by winning the first game “1,197” to “1,153” giving them a “44” pin lead.  The second game was even closer with Hoosick Falls winning “1,238” to “1,226” giving Hoosick Falls a slim “56” pin lead going into the third game.

The third game was very close going into the last four frames but Fort Edward missed some spares and got some splits while Hoosick Falls did a great job making their spares and got a lot of strikes to win the final game “1,154” to “1,060” winning the title match by a total of “150” pins.

Once again the entire team did a great job staying focused throughout the entire match and fought hard right up to the final frame of the final game.  All of their hard work throughout the season paid off in this important match.  “I was very proud of their effort today from the Varsity to J.V. to Exhibition bowlers on the team; they all bowled well!”  said Coach Lang.[/private]
