The Brown’s Walloomsac Brewery Tour is being held exclusively for Rensselaer Land Trust’s members and friends of the community on Sunday, January 24 from 12:30 to 3 pm. The intimate tour – conducted by the brewers – will feature the energy saving, waste water processing, and other innovative processes and practices in place at the facility. [private]Learn about the promise and challenges of locally sourcing ingredients such as barley and hops, and the importance of water quality to good tasting beers and ales. A representative of Hop Hollar Farm in Petersburgh, a source of Brown’s hops, will also be at this special event tour. Limited to 50 people.
