Actress To Work With Hoosac Students; Yule Log Celebration Is This Weekend

December 10, 2015 By eastwickpress

Hoosac School is very excited to announce that Emmy award winning actress and producer Hillary Smith will be lending her talents to Hoosac students as they prepare for this year’s production of the Boar’s Head & Yule Log Christmas Pageant. Smith won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 1994 for her role on One Life to Live.

[private]This will be the 124th year that Hoosac students have performed the show.   Smith has graciously offered her time to help the students gain a better understanding of how to present the best performance possible, from production to acting.  Hillary’s husband, Philip Smith ‘74, will accompany her to Hoosac for the week. He has not seen the production since he was a member of the cast as a Beefeater in 1974.

The show will be performed for the local community on December 10, for the alumni and honored guests on December 11 and for Hoosac parents on December 12.  RSVP with the school at 518-686-7331.[/private]
