Youth Football In Playoffs This Weekend

The 6 – 0 Hoosick Falls Raiders will host Greenwich this weekend in playoff action at 11 am on Sunday, October 25 at their new football field. The Raiders are the Adirondack Division Champions.

Their field is at the end of Waterworks Road, past the baseball and softball fields. It has an electronic scoreboard and snack bar. It’s all new this year and very impressive. League representative Jim Hurlbert said, “It took a lot of time and work, but it was well worth it.”

The Hoosick Falls Irish (4 – 2) will play Granville in Granville at 2 pm. Head coach Tim Fauler has his team ready for the big game.

With a win, either team will advance to the league’s Super Bowl in their respective division.[private]
