Undefeated Field Hockey Grabs A Couple More

HF 4 – North Warren 0

HFCS, 9/25, HF (O) 8 – 0, (L) 7 – 0, NW (O) 4 – 4. Ally Burdick opened the scoring for the Panthers halfway through the first half and the Panthers continued to add to that through the rest of the game. Liz Ryan scored three goals, two in the first half and one in the second to finish off the opposition. [private]

Alexis Carreau had two assists and Lillian Hickey added one. Cassie Sherman and Kaitlin Backes each had one save for the Panthers, North Warren goalie Morgan Yarosh had 15 saves.

HF 4 – Columbia 0

Columbia High School, 9/28, HF (O) 9 – 0, (L) 7 – 0, C (O) 0 – 9. After a scoreless first half, the Panthers scored four second half goals in a span of three minutes and twenty-seven seconds to grab a non-league victory. Liz Ryan and Alexis Carreau each had a part in three of them. Carreau scored the first two goals with assists from Liz Ryan. Carreau then assisted Ally Burdick for the third goal. Twenty-four seconds later, Ryan scored the final goal unassisted to add the forth goal to the total. Goalie Cassie Sherman had three saves, Columbia goalie Suzanne Clark recorded 12 saves.
