Panther Girls Enter Sectionals As Number Six Seed

The Panthers were co-champs with Mechanicville for the Wasaren League title this year. Both teams had identical 13 – 1 league records and 13 – 3 overall records. Congratutions to the team.

Now moving into the sectional play, the girls soccer team is seeded number six in the Sectional Tournament. Selections were held Tuesday. The Panthers will face number 11 seed Chatham on Friday at 3 pm on the Panthers home field. Schalmont is the number one seed, Voorheesville is number 2.

HF 2 – Tamarac 0

Hoosick Soccer Fields, 10/3. In the last regular game of the year, the Panthers scored one goal in each half, which was one more in each half than Tamarac scored. Kelly Pine, with an assist from Megan Flynn, scored the first half goal. Angela Gonzalez scored the second half goal unassisted. Jayde Tutunjian had five saves in goal.[/private]
