HFCS Key Club Collecting For UNICEF For Halloween

October 29, 2015 By eastwickpress

by Raven Brenenstuhl & Heidi Bossoni

Every year the HFCS Key Club holds its annual Trick-or-Treat fundraising event. Last year the members of Key Club collected 150 food items for the local food pantry. This year the club will be Trick-or-Treating for UNICEF to stay engaged in worldwide Key Club affairs.

[private]The Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Drive collects money and uses it to help support children living in poverty in foreign countries. UNICEF gives medicine, provides better nutrition, clean water, education, and emergency relief to the children in these countries.

On October 31, or prior to, donations will be accepted. If you would like to donate, please look for the little orange boxes at your local shops that read ‘Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF’. Students will also be going door-to-door asking for your help in reaching their goal of $700.

Key Club thanks you – no matter how much the club raises, every cent counts, and could be one child’s first step forward to a better life.
