Only one item of business was on the agenda for the September meeting of the Grafton Town Planning Board. It dealt with the recent purchase of approximately 22 acres of land on Claus Road by Alex Bassey. The applicant would like to divide the property into a plot, of about 8 acres which includes a residential home, and a second lot of the 14 remaining acres. Bassey recently purchased the land from James Kane, who kept about 5 acres for himself.[private]
The Board accepted the application for further review, and set a public hearing for 6:50 pm on October 26, just prior to their next meeting. The October meeting backed up one week because of the Columbus Day holiday. The Board also approved the minutes of their August meeting, and hearing no further business, adjourned. [/private]
