The Second Annual Patriot Ruckmarch will be held on Saturday, September 19, starting from the Poestenkill VFW and marching to Grafton.
There will be two routes, of 24.8 miles or 9.8 miles. Check-in for the long route is at 7:30 am, and check-in for the short route is at noon, both at the Poestenkill VFW. For regstration and more information, visit: www.heroesathomerensco.com.

The event is hosted by Heroes At Home, one of eleven NYS funded programs providing peer support to anyone who has served in the military, as well as their families, regardless of discharge status, era in which they served or combat experience.
Since 2012, it has partnered with the VA, the VFW and American Legion, and community providers to ensure that Veterans have access to services, and to provide mutual support as they navigate the reintegration
The Department of Veterans Affairs estimates that there are 52,000 Veterans living in Rensselaer County and the surrounding five counties. Access to resources is often a significant challenge in these rural communities, and Heroes at Home helps to get the Veterans the help they need.[/private]
