Panther Girls Soccer Gets Two Wins

HF 9 – HV 0

9/10, at Hoosic Valley. The Panthers got out to a 3 – 0 first half lead and cruised through the second half to grab a win. Jordyn Haynes scored three goals and Taylor Mann added two. Keelan Seifert, Darian Morgan, Kelly Pine and McKenzie Bradley each added one goal. Taylor Mann had two assists, Keelan Seifert, McKenzie Bradley, Angela Gonzales and Darian Morgan added one assist each. Panther goalie Jayde Tutunjian had six saves in goal. Hoosic Valley’s Aleyah Proper was kept busy with 12 saves.

HF 2 – Mt Anthony 3 (OT)

9/12, at Hoosick Soccer Fields. When the first half ended in 0 – 0 tie, then a 1 – 1 tie after time expired during regulation play, the exciting game went into overtime. In the overtime period, each team scored before MAU’s Brenna Harris scored what turned out to be the game winner. Kelly Pine, with an assist from Taylor Mann, scored the first goal and Taylor Mann, with an assist from Angela Gonzalez, scored the other. Goalie Jayde Tutunjian had 12 saves.

HF 4 – Cambridge 0

9/14, at Hoosick Soccer Fields. (HF 3 – 2, League 3 – 0) Taylor Mann scored three goals, two in the first half, to pace the Panthers with a big win over rival Cambridge. Rachel Lewsey assisted Mann on one of the goals. Jordyn Haynes added a goal on a penalty kick. Jayde Tutunjian had 11 saves.[/private]
