HFCS Golf Keeps Rolling Along, 8 – 0

The Panthers kept the heat on the rest of the league by taking two more matches from league competitors. The team is so hot a match against Hoosic Valley was rescheduled because of the heat.

Hoosick Falls Country Club, 9/2, HF 7 – 0. Ryan Bloomer (HF) won against Bobby Simmons, 1 up. Mathew Smith (HF) won against Chris Kneer, 5-4. Conner Smith (HF) won against Steve Kneer, 4-2. Hayden Smith (HF) won against Ryan Remington, 5-3. Gavin Playotes (HF) tied Connor Wright. Ryan Bloomer, Mathew Smith (HF) and Bobby Simmons (T) earned sectional scores. The medalist was Mathew Smith with a 38.

HF 3½ – Mechanicville 2½

Mechanicville Country Club, 9/3, HF 8 – 0, M 6 – 2. Ryan Bloomer (HF) won against Tanner Lettrick, 3-2. Mathew Smith (HF) won against Jake Popiel, 3-2. Tim Coleman (M) won against Hayden Smith, 2-1. Conner Smith (HF) tied Alex Ciulla. Justin Pugliese (M) won against Gavin Playotes, 1 up. Sixth player Madison Taber (HF) brought home the win by defeating Dainelle Breen, 2 up. Ryan Bloomer, Conner Smith (HF) and Tim Coleman (M) earned sectional scores.
