result is a timeless fable of love punctuated by a bountiful series of catchy songs, many of which have become classics. This is a show for all ages that you won’t want to miss and it opens at The Theater Barn on Route 20 in New Lebanon on Thursday August 13 for a two week run.
Making his Theater Barn directorial debut, Christopher Briante has assembled a talented cast of Barn veterans as well as new actors to the stage. Returning are John Trainor, Toby Wherry, Michael Luongo and Caitlin Pearson along with newcomers Brooke Bauersfeld, Ryan Burch, Joe Lopez and Mark Marano. Musical director Kevin Finn is also at the piano.
The Fantasticks runs at the air conditioned Theater Barn through August 23. Performances are Thursdays and Fridays at 8 pm Saturdays at 4 pm and 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm.
