July 30, 2015 By eastwickpress

Sundays At Windswept Farm

As the New Lebanon Country Market at Windswept Farm enters its third month this season, we are making an effort to boost attendance at our Sunday market from 10 am to 2 pm at 36 Old Route 20 in New Lebanon. Special events are planned, great live music, delicious hot Thai food by Jem’s Thai Cuisine for lunch and of course all of our wonderful vendors!  Please come out and fill your fridge with delicious, locally grown food and support your local farmers and artisans.

[private]We have a brand new coffee vendor, Hayes Home Roast, offering locally roasted whole bean coffee as well as hot coffee by the cup! Our produce vendors are bustling with fresh, local in-season produce. In season now we have lettuce, kale, bok choy, cucumbers, beans, sugar snap peas, snow peas, carrots, basil, cilantro, garlic, potatoes, corn, zucchini, squash, raspberries, blueberries, cherries, and much, much more! Our meat vendors have fresh, free range beef, pork sausage and chicken! Also available are free range eggs, strawberry vinegar, garlic salt, artisan salts and peppers, and homemade body products.

The farmer’s market is proud to be hosting three special kids events on August 9, August 23 and August 30!  Join the New Lebanon Library at the market on August 9 from 10:30 to 11:30 am to make Superhero Masks as part of their summer reading program.  Join the Stephentown Memorial Library at the market on August 23 from 11:30 to 12:30 for Superhero face painting and Free Books!!  Each child who attends will be given a free book courtesy of the Library to take home with them! Join Judy with her make-it-box at the market on August 30 from 11 am to 1 pm.  Come make art out of recycled materials!
