You have the tools to make great art! All you need is any kind of digital camera, or your cell phone camera, and a keen eye. Learn the tricks of setting up lighting, experimenting with angles, and more to get that perfect image.
The Grafton Community Library is sponsoring [private]this unique workshop with Patrick Dodson on Sunday, July 19 from 1 to 5 pm. Middle and high school students are especially encouraged to join in. Advance registration is required. Register at the Grafton Community Library, located at 2455 NY Route 2, during open hours on Monday and Tuesday 3 to 7 pm, Thursday and Friday 3 to 8 pm, and Wednesday and Saturday 10 am to 1 pm. Instructor Patrick Dodson is an internationally published award winning photojournalist. A graduate of the University of Albany, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Digital and Visual Media Journalism with a minor in Art and Photography. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Eddie Adams Workshop, has taught at the Arts Center of the Capital Region, and for the last four years has served as a staff photographer for the Schenectady Daily Gazette.
