HFCS Softball Struggling For Wins

Vs. Stillwater – After traveling to Stillwater last Friday, the Lady Panthers held a 3 – 2 lead going at the top of the third inning. The Warriors scored six in the bottom of the inning and that was all they needed to take a 9 – 3 win over the Panthers. Liz Ryan and Erika Quackenbush each had two singles, with Quackenbush batting in one run. Maddy Ryan, Alyssa Ellis and Chelsea Stevens had one hit apiece. Ellis had two RBI’s. Erika Quackenbush pitched four inning to take the loss.

Vs. Duanesburg at Lake George – The Ladies participated in the Lake George Tournament last Saturday. In the first game, the Panthers fell 13 – 4. Erika Quackenbush homered for the Panthers.

Vs. Lake George at Lake George – In the second game at the Lake George Tournament, the Ladies beat Lake George 11 – 9. Alysa Ellis had two doubles and three RBI’s. Erika Quackenbush hit three triples and also knocked in three runs. Quackenbush got the win on the mound.

Vs. Stillwater – Monday the Panthers hosted Stillwater. Final score was 7 – 5. Alyssa Ellis had three RBI’s with an out of the park home run. Liz Ryan and Maddy Ryan each had two singles.

Vs. Greenwich – Tuesday the Panthers faced the Greenwich Witches at HFCS. The Panthers lost 7 – 1.
