Popular Performer Whose Songs Tell The Stories of Our Times At SLCA

Sand Lake Center for the Arts is proud to bring you “Tom Chapin” live on stage Sunday, May 17 at 2 pm.  Tom Chapin’s performances appeal to all ages, his songs tell the stories of our times.  WH-Tom ChapinChapin presents a lively, interactive and fun-filled performance which engages the hearts, minds and imaginations of young listeners. His witty, life-affirming original songs convey positive messages about family, good food and the green earth.  Lend your voice, sing a round, learn a song in sign language and discover the music of a didjeridoo.

In a career that spans five decades, 24 recordings and three Grammy awards, the multi-talented singer-songwriter-guitarist has covered an incredible amount of creative ground.  In addition to his work as a recording artist and concert performer, Chapin has acted on Broadway, as well as working extensively in television, radio and films. Tickets are Adults $20 prepaid, $25 at the door, under 18 $10 prepaid, $15 at the door.  SLCA is located at 2880 NY Highway 43, Averill Park, NY., is fully handicapped accessible, with plenty of free parking.
