The HFCS boys baseball team lost to Tamarac Tuesday, 12 – 5, in a game played at Tamarac High School. Noah Coney hit a two run double for the Panthers. Pitcher Kealan Hitt (0 – 2) took the loss.
[private] Over on the Tamarac girls softball field, the Panthers Ladies knocked out 13 hits on their way to scoring 16 runs and taking a 16 – 8 victory over the Bengals. It was their season opener.
Liz Ryan, Maddy Ryan, Chelsea Stevens, Alyssa Ellis, Sydney Miller and Stephanie Merwin each had two hits. Alyssa Ellis had two doubles, and Sidney Miller and Abby Gilson each had one. [/private]
