Hoosac School students helped clear out a storage room at the Louis Miller Museum in Hoosick Falls, sorting out the junk from the historically important on Tuesday, February 17. “These young people were a huge help,” said Mr. Phil Leonard, Town Historian and Museum Treasurer.
“We’ve been procrastinating about doing this for so long, and the kids just came in and worked with us to get it done in an afternoon. We can’t thank them enough.” In a frame they found in the storage room are (l to r) Hoosick Township Historical Society First Vice-president Diana Cottrell, Sierra Palmatier and Carolyn Santalesa. The students are part of the “Hoosac Helps Community Outreach Program” under the direction of faculty member Jason Jansen.
