The Capital Region’s Premiere Improv Troupe has wowed audiences at area venues such as Proctors, Caffe Lena and The Comedy Works for years. Mopco’s mission: To Make Stuff Up, with the help of their wonderful audience, in every great venue in the area. Mopco shows consist of improvised scenes, games and songs, all based on audience suggestion and sometimes with the onstage help of willing audience volunteers.

“I have seen improv before, and I’m sure you have too, but THESE actors are ready for prime time. Have you ever watched a performance so brave that you wanted to shake the performer’s hand or kiss her cheek after the show? That’s how I felt…” – Susan Arbetter, WCNY Radio. “If you’ve never seen a Mop and Bucket performance, be assured they’re laugh-till-you-cry funny.” – Kristi L. Gustafson, Times Union. “From its humble beginnings, this troupe has morphed and grown into a top-notch unit capable of all kinds of theatrical gamesmanship, much of it of their own invention.” – Michael Eck, Times Union. Tickets cost $16 for adults, $10 for those under 18. Reservations can be made at 518-674-2007 or www.slca-ctp.org. SLCA is located at 2880 NY 43, Averill Park and is fully handicapped accessible with plenty of free parking.
