Top bowlers for Hoosick Falls were  Josh McCart 234-650, Eric Bloomer 203-588, Ken Marbot 213-582, Jon Bossoni 202-582, Kyla Day 225-535, Jennifer Sargood 222-520 and William Charbonneau 181-457.  Other good JV and Exhibition scores were  Tyler Lindsey 211-529, James Hynd 192-500, Matt Bulson 181, Dan Suite 165, Lilli Williams 165, Owynn Arnold 155 and Meghan Backes 141.

“Today we honored our three seniors –  Ken Marbot, Eric Bloomer and William Charbonneau because this was our last home match of the season.  They bowled together on lanes three and four for the first time all season.  They did a good job leading our team to victory in the last home victory of their careers.  The three of them are great kids, and they will be missed next year.  The entire team put up some good scores again today from varsity down to exhibition.  It’s been a pleasure to watch this team improve over the season.  We have some good potential bowlers for years to come,”  said Coach Lang.

The Hoosick Falls bowling team defeated Hoosic Valley on Tuesday, January 20, by the score of 4-0.  Hoosick Falls had total match pins of 3,544 to Hoosic Valley’s total match pins of 3,285.  Hoosick Falls finished the regular season with a league record of 12-0 and has a overall record of 13-0.  Hoosick Falls has a league point record of 47-1, and Hoosic Valley has a league point record of 28-16.  Losing only one point for the season in the league is the best in the history of the team, beating the record by just one point.

Top bowler for Hoosic Valley was Tyler Ray with a 254-659.  Top bowlers for Hoosick Falls were  Eric Bloomer 267 (all time high game) – 690 (all time high triple), Josh McCart 222-591, Ken Marbot 225-589, Kyla Day 226-580, A.J. “This was a great final league match where the entire team bowled well, and now we will be bowling for the League Championship against Fort Edward in a couple of weeks.  Our total match pins of 3,544 is one of the best that we have had at Hilltop Bowl in many years.  Eric bowled great today with his all time best single game and triple.  He was in the pocket all day and didn’t miss many spares.  He has been bowling steadily better as the season has progressed.  I believe that these are the best overall varsity scores, from top to bottom, that we have had all season.  This is the scoring that we will need in the next three weeks for our upcoming tournaments,”  Coach Lang said.

Hoosick Falls won the Southern Division of the Adirondack League and will meet Fort Edward, the winner of the Northern Division, on Tuesday, February 10, at Strike Zone Lanes in Saratoga for the championship of the league starting at 4 pm.
