A Masquerade Cabaret In Hoosick Falls

October 10, 2014 By eastwickpress

A Masquerade Cabaret will be held Saturday evening, November 1, at the HAYC3 Armory in Hoosick Falls. The show will begin at 7 pm. Headlining this event will be Hoosick Falls’ own Broadway luminary, Kevin McGuire, with accompanist Richard Cherry.  [private]In addition, the impressive vocal talents of David Sutton will be featured. Also on stage will be a host of outstanding Hoosick Falls Central School faculty performers. This promises to be an excellent evening of cabaret style entertainment.

All proceeds of the evening will be donated to the Isabel M. McGuire Scholarship Fund. Beloved HFCS Math teacher, Isabel McGuire, passed away in March of this year.  She was an enthusiastic supporter of the performing arts and always made celebrating Halloween an adventure.

Costumes are suggested but not required for the Masquerade Cabaret. The $25 admission includes the show and a dessert buffet. Wine and beer will be available at the cash bar. To add to the fun there will be a Silent Auction and a Trivia Contest. Tickets are available from Jan McGuire at 598-8412, Thorpe’s Pharmacy at 686-5711 or Artistic Hair at 686-7485.[/private]
