A group of incoming Hoosick Falls eighth-graders spent a week in August exploring the great outdoors learning about the environment and a range of environmental careers.
The week long science enrichment program introduced approximately 25 students to such notable natural habitats as the Albany Pinebush Preserve, the Ball Mountain Dam in Vermont, Howe Caverns in Schoharie County, Lake Champlain and Lake George and the Salem Fish and Game Club – while offering an opportunity to learn about local ecosystems.
