HFCS Bowling Team Banquet

The Hoosick Falls Central School Bowling Team recently had its end of season banquet at Barbecue Lanes.  The program started off with a great covered dish supper provided by the parents of the bowlers.  The team was honored for the great season that they had, which included becoming Southern Division Champions, Adirondack League Champions, League Tournament Champions and a Scholar Athlete Team for the fourth year in a row.

Special contributors were thanked for all that they did for the team – Pat Morandi, Joe and Gayle Magisano, Bea Peterson/Eastwick Press, Dick Weeden, Walt Callahan, Jim Hurlburt, Donna and Tim McCart and Jack and Linda Fitzsimmons.

Special Awards went to  A.J. Hurlburt – Biggest Impact on Team for First Year Varsity Bowler, William Charbonneau – Best Attitude, Eric Bloomer – Most Improved New Bowler on Team, Kyla Day – Most Improved From Last Year, Jennifer Sargood – Varsity Rookie of Year, Stephen Surdam – Will to Win and Most Valuable Bowlers – Josh McCart and Kenneth Marbot.  Josh McCart won the Tink Foster Sr. Memorial Most Valuable Player Award.  Each bowler received a Certificate from the School, a Team Booklet, a Picture of the Team, a Gift Certificate for Team efforts during the season and Team Patches.  Also, each team member received a Team Jacket commemorating his or her accomplishments throughout the season.  After the presentations, the team members and family had a good time bowling.
