The Berlin boys modified basketball team, coached by Aaron Willis, wrapped up its league season on Monday, February 10, with a 39-26 victory at Loudonville Christian.

Leading the way was Ryan Willis, who had a season high 24 points. Henry Ruebel chipped in with 6. Josh Hendricks and Tyler Kellar were strong all night on the defensive end. With his 24 points, Ryan Willis ends the season as the team’s top scorer as well as one of the league’s top performers, averaging 15 points per game.
The boys finished their campaign with an overall record of 5 wins and 9 losses. Berlin is one of only two schools in their league which have a JV program. All the other schools play with ninth-graders while Berlin’s squad relies on youth from the seventh and eighth grade. The boys battled hard night in and night out against bigger and stronger teams. They ended their season winning 5 out of their last 8 games.
