Two HFCS Golfers Went To Sectionals

Eric Bloomer and Andrew Hoag participated in Class C / D Sectionals on Wednesday, October 2, at the Ballston Spa Country Club. Players from 22 schools were represented. The competition was a shotgun start event.

Bloomer shot an 82, which ended being a tie for the second lowest score. The lowest score was by medalist Jordan Fordyce of Northville with a fine 78. Hoag shot a 93.
Players shooting an 85 or lower score move on to the first round of the State Qualifier.
At the State Qualifer held at the Altamont Country Club in Altamont, NY, Bloomer shot an 88. The cut was  82.
The entire team did well on the season. Special congratulations go to Bloomer and Hoag. Both these players are juniors and will return next season. The future is bright for the HFCS golf team.
