HF Girls Soccer Getting Ready

The Panther girls soccer team is tuning up to make a run into the Sectionals.
Last Friday they faced the Cambridge Indians at Delurey Field in a WASAREN league contest. The Panthers easily defeated the Indians 7 – 1. Jordyn Haynes led the attack with 2 goals. Kolumbia Cook, Hannah Fricke, MacKenzie Hinchliffe, Casie Mann and Rachel Pine scored one goal each. Pine added three assists. Courtney Davis, the Cambridge goalie, had a busy day with 18 saves.
Tuesday evening, the Ladies visited the Stillwater Warriors. Playing under the lights on turf, the Panthers took a 2 – 0 halftime lead on goals by Rachel Pine and Jordyn Haynes. MacKenzie Hinchliffe and Pine scored in the second half to record a final score of 4 – 0.
The Panthers play Thursday, October 17, against Hoosic Valley. This is their final game of the regular season. The game will be under the lights at HFCS. Game time is 7 pm.
The Sectional schedule is not yet available.
