The Grafton Historical Society will meet at 7 pm in the Grafton Town Hall on October 16. This month’s program is “Connecting with Our Collections.”
GHS Members and the public are invited to a special evening event of the Grafton Historical Society. The Society will be displaying recent additions to its collection. Included will be:
• the time capsule from the Grafton Elementary School and photo albums;
• a vintage telephone from the Taconic Valley Telephone Company;
• paintings of Lulu Middleton donated by Elsie Risedorf;
• paintings and genealogy of Alice Corbin Hidley;
• 19th century photographs of many Grafton residents from the newly acquired Hydorn collection, and
• a special exhibit of milestones in the history of the Grafton Community Library.
Please join us as we celebrate these new acquisitions on Wednesday, October 16, at 7 pm at the Grafton Town hall.
