September 20, 2013 By eastwickpress

Neither Hoosick Falls nor Schuylerville could find the net after the first half in their game on Monday at the Hoosick Falls Soccer Complex. So, after 80 minutes of regulation, the teams played two ten minute overtimes.

Schuylerville scored early in the first half to take a 1 – 0 lead. With just over seven minutes until halftime, Max Haar tied the score, 1 – 1. That score held through the next 47 minutes of play. It wasn’t from lack of trying as both teams had multiple opportunities to score.
On Wednesday, the team traveled to Greenwich to take on the Witches. They came away with a 2 – 0 win. The Panthers record now stands at 3 – 0 – 1 on the season.
According to the school website, the team travels to Cambridge Friday, September 20, then plays Stillwater, Tuesday, September 24, at Delurey Field. Both games are scheduled to begin at 4:15 pm.
