Last Thursday, the HFCS golfers traveled up to Poultney, VT, to play Granville at their home course near Lake St. Catherine. This is a difficult, hilly course. The team came away with a win, 4 – 1. Eric Bloomer and Andrew Hoag each shot a 44 to be medalists. A medalist is the player(s) who have the lowest score of any player on either team. A sectional score is a score within 8 strokes of par for that course.

Monday, the team took to their home course to pair off against Tamarac. In the end, the Panthers took the match 4½ to ½. Tamarac’s Anthony Giame shot a 37 to be the medalist. Eric Bloomer shot a 38, his eighth sectional score, and Andrew Hoag shot a 40, also a sectional score. Andrew Hoag, Jake Nolan, Justin Lynch and Will Kennedy all won their matches.
Tuesday, the team headed down Route 7 to once again take on Tamarac, this time on their home course at Frear Park. The Panthers came away winners 4½ to ½.
