In first half action both of the evenly matched teams were held scoreless. At the eighteen minute mark of the second half, Schuylerville capitalized on an opportunity and scored. The Panthers did everything they could to even up the score but had trouble keeping the ball in scoring range, eventually running out of time.
Wednesday afternoon was another beautiful day and another game. Taking on Granville at Delurey Field, the team was looking to get back on track after the previous day’s setback. It didn’t take long to realize this wasn’t going to be a day like yesterday. The Panthers dominated the Golden Horde, 9 – 0.
According to the HFCS online sports calender, on Thursday, September 19, the team goes to Greenwich. On Monday, September 23, the team will host Cambridge at the Delurey Field, and Wednesday, September 25, the Stillwater Warriors come to town for a game at Delurey Field. All games are scheduled to begin at 4:15 pm.
