HF Boy Scout Troop 63 Attends Camp Wakpominee

July 26, 2013 By eastwickpress

submitted by Bernard Davock
Hoosick Falls Boy Scout Troop 63 attended Camp Wakpominee recently.  The boys who went were able to attend sessions to get merit badges.  Some of the badges earned were in swimming, archery, wilderness survival, forestry, soil and water conservation, fishing, and environmental science.  They also enjoyed the campfires and cooking their own food.  Troop 63 was honored at the end of the week with the Troop excellence award and Honor patrol award in addition to individual awards received by the scouts.  If you or your son are interested in joining Troop 63 you can contact Bernie Davock at 686-5296 or come to a meeting on Monday nights in the basement of the Catholic Church starting again in September.
