On Monday, May 6, the Lady Panther lacrosse team hosted the Schenectady Patriots. The Ladies struggled throughout the contest to keep pace with the Patriots, ultimately losing 21-6. Sophomore Jordyn Haynes scored three goals for the Panthers with Keri Wilkins adding two. Goalies Madison Greenwood and Kara LaFlamme had a total of five saves for the home team.

On Wednesday the Ladies took on the Albany Falcons, again on the home field. On a rainy, late afternoon, the Falcons showed their stuff against the Panthers. The Falcons were fast and knew how to play; with sharp passing they easily dominated the Ladies. The final score was 19-4. This dropped the Panther record to 3-8.
Looking ahead, the Panthers take on Emma Willard at home on Thursday, May 9, at 4:15. This will be the Senior Game. The team consists of 11 seniors. Losing them will be a major blow to the team. Not only that, Coach Ferrannini will be losing a manager and a videographer as both are seniors.
On Friday evening, May 10, the team will travel to Greenwich to face the Witches at 7 pm under the lights. Saturday morning, May 11, if all 10 Class C teams decide to participate in the Sectionals, the Panthers will be playing a “Play-in” game, at a time to be determined. The team hopes it will be able to continue to participate in the Sectionals next Tuesday, May 14, at a time and place to be determined by Sectional seeding.
