Last Thursday, May 2, the Panther boys lacrosse team ventured down Route 7 to Troy to take on the Lansingburgh Knights in North Troy. The Panthers were defeated, dropping a 17-3 decision to the Knights. Noah Labarge, Dan Dalpe and Matt Sprague each had a goal. Chris Schielding had nine saves in the goal.
Friday, on the Hoosac School field, the team met the Cambridge Indians. Cambridge always plays tough and this day was no exception. Cambridge took control and cruised to a 18-4 win. Noah Labarge led the Panthers with two goals. Damon Dubois and Matt Sprague each netted two. Chris Schielding had ten saves in the defeat. Hoosick Falls now stands at 0-8 on the season.
During the next week, the Panthers will travel to Voorheesville on Tuesday, May 14, for a 5 pm start. The next day, Wednesday, May 15, the boys will be at home against Mt. Anthony. Game time is 4:30.
