Shakers As Pacifists

Each month, the Shaking Up Sundays: Reading Group sponsored by the Shaker Museum | Mount Lebanon takes an in depth look to see what made the Shakers so ahead of their time. A lively conversation on the Shakers as pacifists, based on a variety of unusual readings, will be held at the Darrow School Library on Sunday,  April 14, at 2 pm. On May 12 the topic will be celibacy.
[private]Participants will be mailed reading material a week prior to event and are encouraged to bring comments and questions. Advanced registration is required; the cost is $10 per session. Members of Shaker Museum | Mount Lebanon attend for free.
