In the first few minutes of the Sectional game against Albany Academy last Friday, November 2, the game looked like it could go either way. But freshman forward Jordyn Haynes was first on the board after Grace Delurey passed the ball up to her for an assist.

The second goal of the game was scored by Delurey, assisted by Jordyn Haynes. This was a special record breaking goal for Delurey. The team celebrated as she broke Meg McKee’s record of most career goals for the Panthers. The third goal was a beautifully placed corner kick from Alice Hayden for Liz Babson to head into the net. It was 3-0 at half. Mac Hinchliffe had a great outside shot to score in the second half. Jordyn Haynes scored another goal on the night. To top the evening, Rachel Pine headed in a thrilling goal with another great corner from Alice Hayden. Hannah Fricke was tough in the net with 9 saves. The Panthers move on to play Mechanicville for the Section II Title on Tuesday.
