The New Lebanon Library announces the following November events. All of these events are free and will take place at the Library which is located at 550 State Route 20.
• November 7, 14, 21, 28 (event is on Wednesdays) – Kid’s Stuff – Tales for Tots Story Hour – 10:30 am. Story hour includes crafts, songs and movement activities.
• November 7, 14, 21, 28 (event is on Wednesdays) – Kid’s Stuff – Hug-A-Bye Babies – Noon. Age appropriate stories, songs, and movement activities for our youngest patrons and their caregivers.
• November 8, 15, 29 (event is on Thursdays) – Kid’s Stuff. Bright Beginnings Story Hour and Play Group.11 am-2 pm. Meet other parents and care providers while your child aged 0-5 hears a story, then socializes with other children in an unstructured, educational setting.
• November 2 – Coffeehouse Night – 6 pm. Singer/songwriter Linda Worster in concert. Light refreshments will be served.
• November 3 – Kid’s Stuff – Paws-to-Read – 9 am. Therapy dogs come to the Library and children read to their furry friends. And, of course, the dogs listen! Please call 518-794-8844 to register.
• November 4 – New Lebanon Book Group – 11 am. The book to be discussed is The Elephant’s Journey by Jose Saramago. Newcomers are welcome.
• November 6 – Kid’s Yoga – 3 pm. Please call to register at 518-794-8844.
• November 9 – Dublin Porter in concert – 7 pm. Berkshire trio performs Irish music.
• November 15 – Family Crafts Night – 6:30 pm. Make your own gourd turkey. All materials will be provided. This activity is suitable for the whole family.
• November 16 – Doug Schmolze in concert – 6:30 pm. An evening of traditional folk and sing-along favorites as well as songs from the American song book from the 30s, 40s and 50s.
• November 30 – Family Movie Night – 6:30 pm. Showing of a current film suitable for the whole family. Call for title 518-794-8844.
