The first half of the Class C State semifinal game played in Stillwater on Saturday, November 10, was a nail-biter. It was a gorgeous warm day, but Hoosick Falls fans didn’t notice as they sat on the edge of their seats. The halftime score was 0-0.

ball rolling with the first goal. She was followed two minutes later by Allie Martin. Dana O’Malley scored the next goal. With little more than 20 minutes to go Grace Delurey added the fourth goal, adding another to her record breaking season. Assists were made by Jordyn Haynes and Rachel Pine. Goalkeeper Hannah Fricke had three saves while the AuSable goalie had 10.
AuSable ended its season with an 8-12 record.
Looking To The Final Four
“Oh, I think they’re going to do it,” said Coach Tom Husser. Actually, he’s more excited with the Saturday matchup than with the Sunday final. Saturday noon, in Cortland, Hoosick Falls plays arch rival and last year’s co-champ Friends Academy. “That’s the two best teams in the State,” said Husser.
